The Granville Historical Society's annual meeting will take place December 2, 2020 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
This year's meeting will be conducted utilizing the online platform Zoom. All members wishing to be a part of the meeting will need to RSVP to the historical society by November 12th in order to receive a special link for the Zoom meeting. The link will be emailed to the members on the 19th of November and again as a reminder the day of the meeting.
Here are the officers and candidates up for election. (Yes, you will get to vote via Zoom!)
Officers:
PRESIDENT: Heidi Drake - Heidi is one of the newest members of the board, currently serving as vice president.
VICE PRESIDENT: Chuck Peterson - Chuck, who was board president in 2017 and 2018, moves to the vice president post from an at-large board position
SECRETARY: Amy Welsh - Amy will retain her position.
TREASURER: Kim Manley - Kim will retain her position.
For three 3-year at-large board terms: Class of 2021 - 2023

Tom, Steve and Jennifer are all new to the board. Tom has agreed to be buildings and grounds chair, and Steve will chair the technology committee. Jennifer has agreed to be the new membership chair as Rita Kipp steps down from this position.
For one year remaining in a vacated three-year at-large term:
Nancy Rush
Nancy will be taking the one-year slot on the board left vacant by Chuck Peterson
Leaving the board will be Ron Sherwood and Rita Kipp. Ron will continue to volunteer as our tech support, and Rita, former membership chair, will be passing that title on to Jennifer Graham.
During the annual meeting all members with current paid memberships will have the right to vote.
